WCCU Radio is operated by Coastal Carolina students, ranging from freshmen to seniors, interested in Communications and Broadcasting. WCCU provides timely, fresh and student-driven content for the campus community.
WCCU Radio is a student-run radio station at Coastal Carolina University.
The station operates under the Department of Communication, Media, and Culture, but we have student DJs from all majors. We encourage diversity and want our shows to represent the interests of our campus and community.
The studio is located on the 3rd floor of Brittain Hall. The station streams 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Students perform their own live shows in a variety of formats including music, talk, and sports. Student shows typically run between 8 a.m. and midnight.
The station offers experiential learning in different aspects of broadcasting including on-air performance, programming, and marketing. The radio station is also used as a lab for classes.
